This is a little game I made for an Opera Widget competition back in 2006. Sadly Opera Widgets is no longer a thing so I've re-hosted this here. Press left/right (or A/D) to turn the snake along a hexagonal grid.
Bonus cheat! Type 'HUNGRYSNAKE' (while not paused), then collect an apple to make all future apples always spawn directly in front of the snake. This mode actually makes for a more interesting challenge as the vanilla game is really slow to grow the snake to any siginifcant size.
Note: high scores are local to your game.

Instructions
As with normal snake, yourmission is to eat as many apples
as you can. Use the left and right arrow
keys only to make 60 degree turns around
the honeycomb. Be careful not to eat your tail!
